Excellent tour! Very interesting, and Leonid is an excellent historian and story teller. I took the tour with my family (wife and two children) and Leonid went out of his way to keep my young son interested. We had a great time and I can’t recommend this tour enough.

This was so far my best experience in Ukraine!!Leo is a fantastic guide, he was so nice to take us for the excursion on a short notice. His knowledge about catacombs and Ukraine and the way he can explain it is just awesome! If I'm back in Odessa someday, I'll definitely go again!

I did the touristic tunnels tour: I had a great tour with Lenoid. He was very flexible and able to arrange me a tour with one hour notice. His tour was very good with some interesting details about the tunnels, historical facts, urban histories and more. I really recommend him as a tour guide. And to visit the tunnels in general.

Leon was excellent guide and speaks English and russian.i have given him maximum 5 stars.His knowledge of history is excellent.He is very helpful to the needs of the customer very helpful for your safety as you go underground and watches your every step.he is DOBRI SUPER! Anyone from UK America English speaking countries would make excellent guide.He has made my day worthwhile. Dilip from London

My husband and I love visiting catacombs and exploring the underground. We happened to have Leon as our guide in the catacombs of Odessa. He is a very knowledgeable person and he had plenty of interesting facts and stories about the city catacombs. That being said, he has even more information about the city Odessa itself. We had a wonderful tour with a beautiful stories and the history of the beautiful city. Really highly recommended!

This tour is one of our favorite things we did while in Odessa. Our teens scoffed when we told them we would be visiting the Catacombs. Leonid quickly won their attention for 2 full hours! We appreciated the private tour for our family of 5 and Leonid presented the facts in English and Russian. If you are visiting Odessa don’t miss this tour!

This tour was brilliant! Leonid my guide spoke fantastic english and was very knowledgeable. He told me some very interesting stories along the way and we even stopped for a little break along the way for a tea and cookies! IIf you are in Odessa this is a must do.

Yesterday visited the catacombs. This is wow excursion. Was so interesting that two hours passed like 10 minutes. Special thanks to guide Leonid, it was interesting and fun. Will definitely be back 🙂

I found Leo on Google maps and he had a group Catacombs tour available. It was a great tour of the catacombs (old mines without any dead bodies) that have been partially converted into a Soviet era emergency bunker. He had plenty of useful information without it being dull. I recommend his catacombs tour.

We caught a 1200 tour which was perfect in duration at 2 hours. There's more to the catacomb network than can possibly be seen in a single day, but this tour provides a mix of different artifacts, exhibits, and tales from all the different eras of the catacomb's history--not just the part about it being an abandoned Soviet shelter. We were fortunate that our tour group was just four people--we encountered larger groups from other tours, so we were happy to have a more personal experience with Leo, our guide. We were treated to a small snack and a compelling story of WWII partisans during our break, which also featured a chance to sample some strong liquor. I recommend this tour--but don't throw the coins in the pond, it harms the fish!

I highly recommend it. The guy was very welcoming, knew what he talks about and tells interesting stories about the place. He even shared tea and cookies with us under the ground.If you are intended to go to catacombs, don't search much.

Leonid was an entertaining and knowledgeable guide, with tons of good stories to tell about the catacombs. The tour itself went through many different chambers and passages within the tunnel network right under the city. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful tour! Leo was extremely knowledgeable, and the information was so interesting. Perfect balance between keeping things moving and sharing information. Also, it was the perfect length. I recommend deciding between the adventure tour and the standard catacombs tour Leo offers based on your clothing and mobility. I personally enjoyed the walking on the adventure tour (fairly flat, but you have to be sure-footed), but I was not dressed well - this was well-advertised, and simply poor planning on my part. Either tour (or both tours!) would be enjoyable, but do not miss the opportunity to take one of these great, safe, fun, and informative tours with this knowledgeable local!

I was not sure whether I needed any excursion at all, but at the last moment I finally made up my mind. I made the right choice. It was an unforgettable journey through the streets, history and places. Without this excursion, a visit to Odessa would not be complete and not so colorful. Now I will recommend to all friends Odessa, and in Odessa the best guide - Leonid. Once again many thanks for the impressions)

We had walking tour with a group of children around Odessa and film studio. I cared, that it's could be too hard for kids to listen historical information, but we would lucky with a guide. Leonid is very thoughtful and welcoming person. He turned history into a stories, that even children listening attentively. Thank you, from all of us!

At the very end of last year summer, our traveling fraternity of 4 people took roads to Odessa ...First days we, armed with a map-guide, independently explored old streets. But soon we wanted to know city closer.And then we had Odessa city tour with a local guide Leonid.The city before our eyes played new colors. Thanks to Leonid we saw a lot of new things, with different eyes we looked at beauties that already seen yesterday, and also climbed into secluded corners of city, where we could hardly get ourselfs. Miraculously, with easy hand of Leo, even closed doors were opened before us, and we saw unusual layouts of inner courtyards, or, for example, ancient forged stairs.Keen on interesting narrative, we did not notice we walked a few hours to a row.We left Odessa full of new pleasant impressions and positive emotions, a considerable part of which is, of course, merit of our guide! For which we thank you so much!!

It was one of the best experience probably in my Live, because Leon was so passionate and showed beautiful places in Odessa. A lot of my friends where happy with my recommendation as well. You are lucky if you have Leo as a guide around Odessa!

Leonid, thank you for an exciting tour of the catacombs and history about it. We got a lot of good impressions. Even our little child was not afraid of the dungeon and was pleased! Next year we want to go down deeper into the catacombs and visit wild places with you!

Firstly we studied this beautiful city without guide. Just walked around and observed Odessa attractions. Afterwards we decided to know more from local tour guide. That's how we find Leonid and it was kind of luck. This man is totaly in love with his city and it's history. At first we got main sightseeing odessa tour, but then Leonid proposed us to visit catacombs. During catacombs tour we spent underground nearly four hours!! It was incredible feeling!
